My generation is screwed up, honestly. We’re the first generation who ever got access to free information and communication with other parts of the world. We’re the first ones who became technologically adept and dependent. We know so much more than we should and that makes us think we can do all of this by ourselves. So many people in my generation are of the world and it saddens me. We give in to fleshly temptations and ephemeral Earthly passions that we live for the present and never think about the repercussions it might present when we wake up tomorrow. We know our rights but do we actually know them? Most people don’t. A lot of people in my generation abuse their rights to disobey authorities and have a preconceived notion that absolute freedom without restrictions is the only kind of world to live in. Without restrictions, there would die at our own hands. We’ve become desensitized and demoralized thanks to just how liberated everything is. I’m all for liberty myself but even I know that absolute power comes absolute corruption. Absolute freedom is a limitation in itself. We are damned to freedom and with the world at our fingertips, we could send it to the fiery pits of hell in a heartbeat. We are fire. We are destruction. We are the next leaders. We are light.
